PAINT RECOVERY FROM PAINT BATH

In automobile industry, vehicle bodies & other parts are dipped into paint bath for painting purpose. Water rinsing is carried out to remove excess paint from vehicle bodies & parts. This rinse water contains paint traces. Advanced INDION UF specialty membrane system is used, to recover this paint (by removing water).

Existing conventional methods feed the entire effluent load on Effluent Treatment Plant (ETP) and hence incur huge capital and operational costs for waste management systems.

In advanced INDION UF specialty membrane system, the effluent rinsing waste from paint bath is treated with the help of UF membrane system & it recovers up to 98% of paint solids. This valuable recovered paint can be re-used in paint tank & recovered water can also be reused in rinse bath.

INDION UF specialty membrane system reduces load on Effluent Treatment Plant (ETP) & results in saving of ETP cost.
