BRINE RECOVERY SYSTEM FROM SUGAR DECOLORIZATION REGENERATION WASTE

Sugar Refineries use an Ion Exchange technology for decolorization of sugar syrups by using Ion Exchange Resins. Resins needs to be re-generated using alkaline brine solutions, after it gets exhausted.

Regereneration waste of ion exchange columns is treated in INDION Brine membrane recovery System to remove color bodies from the regeneration waste brine solution generated from regeneration cycle of ion exchange columns & recovered brine available for reuse in next regeneration cycle of Ion Exchange system.

Main purposes of brine recovery application is saving in chemical consumption (NaCl) and reduce operational costs & load on Effluent treatment systems.
